In order for us to give you estimate on cost of changing your countertops, you need provide measurements of your countertops, and choose the stone that you like when you visit our showroom. The following is the simple instruction on how to measure.
Measuring countertops is not difficult. All you will need are a tape measure, a pencil, and a piece of paper (We recommend that you always measure twice to ensure that correct measurements are recorded). The measurements will help us to give you an estimated price when you visit our showroom.
Make a sketch of the floor plan of your kitchen. This does not have to be perfect, it's mainly to get the shape of your kitchen. Here are some examples:
Every kitchen is different, so don’t forget things like islands and bars.
Use your tape measure to measure the length along the walls and the width of your countertops. Write down the measurements in inches. When measuring, only measure to the edge of your appliances unless the appliance goes under the countertop completely, such as dishwasher. If there is a turn in your counter (standard 90-degrees), then it's important to measure the back of both sides.
