Come in and visit Plutonic’s showroom at 7601 112 Ave South. Bring along samples of your cabinets, tile and any other helpful interior pieces that will help you select the stone for your home. Also come with a layout (or just a simple drawing with measurements) so that we can price out your project on the spot. During your visit to our showroom we will show you our vast selection of granite. We will provide you with samples of granite to take home to make your selection easier.
Placing an Order
- To place an order with our company, we require you to have the following steps complete in your home.
- Cabinets need to be installed.
- All of the appliances in the kitchen need to be on location. That includes the stove, dishwasher, fridge etc.
- The sink needs to be on location so that we may take it back to the shop and use it as a template for the sink cutout.
If you have a current countertop on your cabinets, please make sure it is removed and the sink and cook top are detached before we come out and install. We do not remove old countertops (unless requested for an additional charge) and we do not specialize in plumbing and electricity.
Once the above requirements are satisfied, you can give us a call and we can be out to template your kitchen the next day! Our installers will provide you with any technical information and will work with you to make sure all the specs and technical details are taken care of, so please have someone knowledgeable present. At the end of templating we require a 50% deposit based on the estimate price. We do accept credit cards (there is a 2.5% surcharge), or the payment must be done in cash, certified check or personal check.
The Final Price
The final price will be calculated based on the measurements taken on the jobsite. We will also verify the stone and the edge selected. If the stone's color pattern or grain is not consistent, we recommend that you come down to our yard so that you can select the slabs and the specific parts of them which will be used for the counter surface. At this point we need your "OK" to fabricate the counter by signing off on Final Fabrication Form. It usually takes us 7 -10 business days to fabricate and install the project after the final price is confirmed.
Installation
The last and final step is the installation. Before we finish the job we require the final payment in the form of cash, certified check or credit card (there is a 2.5% surcharge). This payment is due no later than on the day of the installation. We can then proceed with the installation. We will install the countertop and seam it if necessary. Last, we will drill the faucet holes and attach only undermount sinks. If a back splash is required for a renovation it will require a second visit to complete install. |
